A Narberth man has been told he must abstain from alcohol for 100 days after he committed an offence while under a community order.

Joshua Spicer, of Castle Terrace, was not present in court when Haverfordwest Magistrates revoked the original community order. The order had been made on April 4 for stalking ‘without fear, alarm or distress’.

The stalking, which took place in February, had included unwanted attention and gifts, a social media request and attending the individual’s home and workplace. The court said Spicer knew or ought to have known it amounted to harassment.

A new community order was made, requiring the 37-year-old to abstain from alcohol throughout a period of 100 days, submit to monitoring, attend any appointments and participate in any activity required by the responsible officer, up to a maximum of 20 days.
