A MILFORD Haven woman who tested over the limit for two controlled drugs has been banned from driving for 12 months.
Veronica Jones, of Haven Drive, Hakin, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 16.
There she pleaded guilty to drug driving a Vauxhall Astra on the Steynton Road, Milford Haven when the proportions of cocaine and benzoylecgonine in her blood both exceeded their respective specified limits.
Jones’ guilty plea was taken into account, but for anyone convicted of driving or attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the UK, a driving ban is strictly obligatory. In addition to receiving the year-long disqualification, the 38-year-old was fined £120.
Court costs totalled £85.
