A MILFORD Haven man has been banned from driving after a blood test showed the presence of drugs.

Adrian Lewis, of Priory Road, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 16 charged with driving a motor vehicle on the A4076 at Haverfordwest on January 19 of this year when the proportion of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, a controlled drug, was more than double the specified limit.

The offence carries an obligatory ban, and 46-year-old was disqualified from driving for 36 months, He was also fined £120, with a guilty plea being taken into account.

Costs to Crown Prosecution Service amounted to £85, plus a surcharge of £48, with the lump sum to be paid in full within 28 days.
