A MILFORD Haven driver has been jailed for a drink driving offence while serving a suspended sentence.
Appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Monday, July 20, Ian Evans, of James Street, Hakin, was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle on a road at Hubberston while a) disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence, b) not covered by third party insurance and c) over the limit for alcohol.
The 37-year-old was disqualified for 60 months 70 days and sentenced to 20 weeks’ imprisonment for driving while over the alcohol limit and eight weeks (concurrent) for driving while disqualified. Total custodial period: 40 weeks. His driving record was also endorsed (no points).
Costs to Crown Prosecution Service amounted to £650.
