A MAN with no fixed abode has been sentenced after pleading guilty to making an offensive call to the police from Tenby.
Christopher Lawrence, aged 43, appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 14, admitted making a call to police that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character at Tenby on June 2.
Hi guilty plea being taken into account, Lawrence was sentenced to a 12-month community order including nine months of non-residential alcohol treatment, as directed by DDAS (Dyfed Drug and Alcohol Service), with weekly treatment intervals and rehabilitation activity as required up to a maximum of 15 days.
He was also fined £100. Court costs totalled £85, plus a surcharge of £114.
