A DRIVER from Milford Haven was in Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 28 after drug driving and using a motor vehicle / trailer with an incorrectly inflated tyre.
Jamie Coombe, 56, of Marble Hall Road, drove a Mazda 2 on St Peter’s Road, Johnston on January 16 with blood levels of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, a controlled drug, in excess of the specified limit.
Coombe was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120.00.
Additionally, the front nearside tyre was not so inflated as to make it fit for the use to which the vehicle was being put, leading to a driving record endorsement (no points), guilty pleas having been taken into account.
A surcharge of £48 was added to £85 costs.
