A seaside-loving couple who tied the knot in Tenby six years ago, celebrated their wedding anniversary over the weekend by building a beach on their drive way to mark the special occasion during the lockdown.
James Fry proposed to Laura on Tenby’s South Beach beach whilst they were holidaying at Kiln Park and the Cwmbran couple were married at the resort's Giltar Hotel.
Determined not to let the date of the anniversary pass by whilst self-isolating, James a a self-employed carpenter had the brainwave of using the stocks of wood on his van to recreate a Tenby seaside scene at the couple’s home - as every year since their wedding they have visited a beach to celebrate.
Laura even put her wedding dress on to celebrate their special day, whilst the couple’s children, ten-year-old Ruby and seven-year-old Travis put on their swimming gear to dive in to the specially created paddling pool - all while dad enjoyed a beer from his own beachside bar!
