The final Summer Spectacular in Tenby drew a massive crowd, featured great bands and ended with fabulous fireworks at 10pm.
“What a night in our old Tenby Town,” said photographer Gareth Davies. “Possibly more people than firework stars in the dark sky.”
Members of the ‘Picture This’ Tenby Observer photography club were also there as the colourful display lit up the night sky, with Kay Belle capturing several bright moments and David ‘Bodie’ Bolton producing a signature shot.
It was another amazingly successful Tenby Round Table Summer Spectacular, second of the season and each time the sun has shone all day! All money raised will be donated to local charities.
The event on the harbour took place on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 24, following a successful spectacular two weeks before on August 10.

Describing it as an epic event, DJ Steve Briers enthused on Facebook:
“Samba Doc, Lowri Wyn, Sunken Hundred, Tin Man Revolution , Funktion 22 - Party Band: You guys were absolutely fantastic entertainers and you totally rocked Tenby Harbour last night, not of course forgetting Kai and crew from Outbreak Sound for the superb sound and engineering. Phenomenal shows from you all.
He added: “Tenby Round Tablers, you guys need to take a massive bow for what you do.”
“Fantastic almost Disney-esque Firework Display to end the event, and, of course, what an amazing crowd of happy smiling party people again enjoying that unique special Tenby Summer Vibe. Simply the Best.”
The party lasted more than seven hours, and many members of the Round Table it was a 17 hour long shift, all with the aim of raising as much money for charity as possible.
If you missed the bucket collections, there’s still an opportunity to donate online: find the Paypal link on the Tenby Round Table Facebook page.
