ON Good Friday, Pembroke Farmers Club hosted a farmhouse breakfast in Lamphey in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), with some fantastic food put on by South Pembs YFC.
Attending the event, Samuel Kurtz said: “It was to catch up with so many familiar faces and see the community come together for such a good cause, a great way to kick off Good Friday.”
Every week in the UK, at least 12 young people lose their lives to undiagnosed heart conditions. CRY is doing incredible work to help change that through awareness, screening, research, and support for families.
“Events like this make such a difference, raising both awareness and much-needed funds to help protect more young lives in the future,” added Mr Kurtz.
It follows a bingo night put on by Ashmole & Co’s Haverfordwest office at the Cresselly Cricket Club ground, raising a massive £843 for the cause.
