Sixteen people enjoyed Llanteg Community Walking Group’s walk at Milford Haven, which took in the harbour and Point beach and the lower priory path, afterwards enjoying cake and drinks at The Lord Nelson Hotel.
Llanteg community walking group usually holds a walk once a month, on a Sunday afternoon, generally followed by drinks and cake afterwards.
The group normally walks about three miles which is about five kilometres. The walks offer a chance to make new friends, enjoy the fresh air and get out in the countryside and sometimes to find out a bit about the area being explored. They cover Pembrokeshire and West Carmarthenshire.
The walks are open to everyone, but they are limited to 20 people, and the group asks us to note that all participants take part at their own risk. Sturdy footwear is advised.
The next walk will take place on Monday, August 25: a walk around Colby Garden, which is owned by The National Trust (parking charges apply).
To secure a place on the walk, book via the ‘Llanteg Community Association - Walking Group’ Facebook page.
