ST MARY’S Church, Tenby hopes to use a portion of a window in St Anne’s Chapel for a stained or etched glass window as a memorial to late choirmaster and organist Dr John Harrison, but there is one thing that needs to be checked first…

There is a dedication at the bottom of the window in question, and the church respectfully asks the descendants of those mentioned in the dedication if they have any objections.

The dedication is in memory of: WILLIAM LYONS (died 1849 aged 83); SARAH, his wife (died 1860 aged 92) and their children: ELIZABETH (aged 32); JOHN (aged 47); CHARLES, FRANCIS and JAMES - died in infancy; ANTHONY (died 1863); MARY ELLEN WALCOTT SIMPSON died (1863) aged 62; CATHERINE ANN (died 1873) aged 75; WILLIAM (died 1878) aged 81; HENRY, JANE and SARAH (died 1885).
