BEFORE the imminent arrival of Storm Bram on December 8, four tables were in play in the Village Hall, which was looking very festive with a lovely Christmas Tree and bunting.

The Penally Yarn Bombers had been busy in the gateway with lots of robins, Christmas trees and a winter scene to add cheer.
Top pair was Pam & Kath with 67.36%, followed by John & Jill with 61.81% and the only pair to score a small slam, Geoff & Paul V. with 59.72%.
Club members will not meet on December 22 but will play on December 29 at 1.30pm in the Village Hall, when any visiting players and their partners would be warmly welcomed.
