COMEDY Club, presented by Span Arts. returns next Thursdsay, September 7, with Otiz Cannelloni, a master of mirth and minimalist magic, Andy Field, winner of the Chortle Student Comedy Award 2015, and MC James Cook; award -inning stand-up comedian.
The first comedy club of the Autumn season kicks off with a special event at the De Valence in Tenby to precede Ironman Wales 2017.
Otiz Cannelloni combines the illusion of magic and the wit of stand up to produce a hybrid comic creation. With a mind more suited to testing crash helmets, his performance fluctuates between sheer genius and downright stupidity. Just when you suspect he doesn’t have a clue, Cannelloni removes all doubt.
Andy Field, winner of the Chortle Student Comedy Award 2015, as well as finalist in the 2014 Leicester Square New Act of the Year, will be joining Cannelloni. Andy has made an impact on the comedy scene with his unique style and fresh approach to traditional stand up. A regular at festivals such as Latitude and Secret Garden Party, Andy is fast becoming a familiar face at top comedy clubs around the country.
Compere for the evening is award-winning comedian, James Cook. A Birmingham-based comedian, James has been awarded for being the funniest person in the Midlands. As well as stand-up, he has also been a presenter on three commercial radio stations and teaches courses in comedy.
Bring your mates or your dates along for an evening brimming with comical talent, fun, food and that feelgood factor. It starts at 8 pm.
Online sales close at 4 pm on the day of the event. Box Office will re-open half-an-hour before show starts.
