Pembroke and District, Osprey and Neyland Angling Clubs are getting ready to present the 19th Air Ambulance Open at Amroth, sponsored by Valero Pembroke Refinery.

First prize of £200 goes to the heaviest bag of flatfish; second prize of £100 to the heaviest fish (any fish), and the third prize of £50 goes to the second heaviest bag of flatfish. Only one sizeable fish, other than flatfish, is to be presented at the scales, and all fish must be in suitable containers to keep unwanted fish alive.

Entry is £10, plus an optional team of two, £2 per angler, both to weigh in.

The charitable event is to raise money for the Wales Air Ambulance and takes place on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 11am to 3pm; scales close at 3.30pm prompt.

There will be a Grand Raffle on the day, with many prizes.

Rules: Fishing is to be between markers only. No rod stand on beach, except stewards, until the angler has booked in. The committee reserves the right to refuse entry and in disputes, their decision will be final.
