A Narberth teenager, accused of assaulting two men in Tenby, was released on unconditional bail after his case was adjourned by Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday.

Nineteen-year-year-old Joshua Frederick Palin, of Ludchurch, faced two charges of common assault, relating to an incident in June of last year.

Although Mr. Palin's solicitor, James Subbiani, indicated to the court that his client would be pleading guilty to the first charge, he said he couldn't answer to the second charge yet, as the alleged assault had taken place on a friend and there were certain matters that needed clarifying before a plea could be entered.

Mr. Subbiani also explained that there were issues regarding legal aid funding that needed to be sorted with the Crown Prosecution Service before the case could proceed.

Magistrates adjourned the case until Tuesday, February 12, and released Mr. Palin on unconditional bail.
