Whitland's Carnival Queen for 2009 is Sophie Davies.

She was chosen at the selection evening on Friday.

Her attendants will be Yasmin Walters and Siwan Kirkwood.

Also chosen were Prince Charmings - Scott Lewis and Benjamin Jenkins; Fairy Queen - Chloe Thomas; Rose Queen - Emily Nelmes; attendants - Anna Nelmes and Megan Davies.

Evening sponsors were Davies Builders Merchants, raffle - Fishers Arms.
