With just over two months until the start of Narberth Civic Week 2012, the annual Carnival Queen selection took place last Thursday evening at the rugby club in Narberth.

With the selection of the queen and her attendants being perhaps the most important event, bar that of the parade itself, once again the committee were welcomed with a good turnout.

The judge was an independent in the form of Tina Rowlands from Tavernspite, while also in attendance for the official 2012 pictures was the Mayor and consort of Narberth, Clr. Ms. Suzanne Radford-Smith and Mike Hopkins.

Fairy Queen -  Ella Impey; attendants - Carlie Jayne Dutton, Nikita Etchells; Page Boys - Ceiran Phillips, Rhys Brenchly; Carnival Princess - Alisha Prosser; Carnival Queen - Charlie Evans; attendants - Ceria Wood, Chloe Pearce.

The committee would like to extend their thanks again to the rugby club for hosting the evening and also to all entrants; whether they were picked or not, they all did very well.
