A brand new B&M store was opened in Haverfordwest recently, with help from honoured guests from the Paul Sartori Foundation. The new store in Bridge Meadow Retail Park is over 18,000 sq. ft. and has created more than 65 jobs for local people.

Customers can find a wide variety of branded groceries including baby food and pet food. There is also a selection of health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

The new colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the Paul Sartori Foundation who took centre stage at the official opening to unveil the new B&M store.

The Paul Sartori Foundation, Pembrokeshire’s only Hospice at Home Service, was established for those with life limiting illnesses and was founded in memory of its namesake Father Paul Sartori. The charity has since provided over 20,000 hours of hands-on nursing and supplied over 1,230 pieces of equipment, now with over 300 volunteers on hand.

In addition to opening the store, the team will also receive £250 worth of B&M vouchers which will go towards helping the charity to continue doing the great work they do.

The store manager said: “It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors; the feedback so far has been fantastic.”

“A big thank you to the team at The Paul Satori Foundation who helped us open the store, we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do in supporting the local people.”
