A Narberth butchers has enjoyed victory after making the cut at the Food Awards Wales 2016.
Andrew Rees and Sons Butchers Ltd took home the ‘Meat Supplier of the Year’ award at the ceremony held at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff recently.
The Food Awards Wales celebrate and reward the very best in Welsh food hospitality, the servers, the specialists and suppliers.
Voted for by the Welsh public, the awards are designed to recognise the efforts of restaurants, takeaways, gastro pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes and bistros, as well as shine the spotlight on the wonderful local producers who provide their delicious ingredients.
“As it’s an award voted for by the general public, we are delighted to win in our category, and thank all our customers and those who voted and showed their support for us,” said Andrew.
