As well as the spectacular fireworks display set to a musical extravaganza, the evening saw an array of fairground rides and attractions, as well as plenty of food and refreshments for those attending, with money raised going towards local charities.
“Once again a huge thank you to everyone that came to the display - seeing your comments makes the seven months of planning worth it!” said a spokesperson for Narberth and Whitland Round Table.
“It wasn’t an easy event to put on with Covid-19 still with us, but we were so pleased we managed to put on what was an amazing display.
“Thanks to our generous sponsors, for helping us achieve this event, and the to the volunteers that have helped us - we couldn’t have pulled the event off without them!
“And of course a big thanks to the team at Bright Sparks Fireworks for a spectacular musical display!
“Round Table members are all volunteers who have work tirelessly to bring this event to you, but if you want to be involved in this event next year - we are welcoming men, aged between 18 and 45 to come and join us to keep making Whitland Fireworks bigger and better each year! Thank you for all your continued support,” they added.
Mary Adams of The Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland who helped out at the event, commented: “Always a pleasure helping the boys at Narberth and Whitland Round Table 1062.
“What a superb night of fireworks they had - just like the old days the park was full to capacity! So many happy children’s faces.
“It was a pleasure to be there taking photos,” added Mary of Powerpix Photography.
