Much has been said about how our local and national culture is changing as a result of the economic downturn, energy resource depletion and climate change.

With this in mind, Nick Capaldi,CEO for The Arts Council of Wales, opined: "I look to the artists amongst us to use their best imagination, their most inquisitive curiosity, their most forensic inquiry, to search more intensely and to reveal more eloquently the insights that will lead me to a deeper and more rooted understanding. What I understand I can engage with. And what I can engage with I can change."

In collaboration with SPAN Arts and Narberth Museum and a grant made available through The Arts Council of Wales, Transitionarberth invite members of the public to an exhibition and workshops enabling each to visualise and prepare for life in a positive way for Narberth as it may be in 2030

An exhibition from local artists depicting a positive future vision of Narberth will be on display during October at the Museum in Church Street.

On Tuesday, October 29, at the Museum, there will be also be a creative workshop day where artists are providing free tuition for children and adults, starting from 10 am, featuring - jewellery making for adults (with tutor Linda Norris); fabric dying with natural dyes for Primary School children (with Emma Baines); lunchtime entertainment in the restaurant by a storyteller on Narberth life in 2030 (non alcoholic drinks available for purchase, bring your own lunch); upstyling your wardrobe for adults (with Carys Hedd); endangered species collage for children (with Tina Lewis).
