Tenby’s inshore lifeboat the Georgina Taylor was requested to launch shortly before 10.30 pm on Sunday (March 1) following a report from a member of the public that someone was possibly in difficulty in the North Beach area.

The lifeboat was quickly on the scene, with the volunteer crew requested to search the shoreline and rocks between Waterwynch and Castle Beach, while Coastguard, Police and Fire and Rescue searched above.

Having thoroughly searched the area and with nobody reported missing, the lifeboat was stood down, returning to station at 11 pm.
