A couple on their honeymoon in Tenby suffered minor injuries after some kind of explosive device was thrown at them near to the resort’s Royal Lion Hotel.

The incident occurred at approximately 9 pm on Thursday.

It is understood that two females nearby dropped their shopping bags, causing bottles to smash, such was the noise which frightened them.

Police say this incident could have caused a nasty injury to a child.
