Mean spirited thieves have stolen a festive lighting decorations from the community in Kilgetty and Begelly.
Efforts have been made by the community to brighten up the locality to mark the festive period with lights and decorations popping up in recent weeks, even on the roundabout adjoining the two villages.
However, on Friday night (December 4) a lit-up ‘Merry Christmas’ sign was stolen from this location.
“These lights have been out up by the community and this has upset a lot of people - stealing Christmas decorations, is this the future!!” said Kilgetty/Begelly community councillor Gavin Thomas.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We were called to a report of the theft of a solid ‘Merry Christmas’ light sign from the Begelly roundabout on the A477 between 6 and 10 pm on Friday, December 4.”
