A Pembroke Dock motorist will go on trial in the New Year after denying a charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis after being suspected of drink driving.

Forty-four-year-old Karen Samantha Rees, of Kavanagh Court, Bush Camp, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to plead not guilty to the charge relating to an incident where she was suspected of driving a vehicle under the influence on November 11.

The defendant’s solicitor indicated to the court that his client was unable to provide a specimen for analysis at the time of her arrest due to medical reasons.

Magistrates set a trial date for January 3, and Ms Rees who was released on unconditional bail, and ordered to return to the court in Haverfordwest on the date given.
