Drama unfolded on Tenby’s North Beach this afternoon after a seven-year-old boy got stuck at the top of Goscar Rock.
Police and coastguard services were the first on scene to aid the child, but due to his precarious position, the town’s firefighters were alerted and once on scene used a long ladder to reach the child. Firefighters Rhys Thomas and Andrew Aston climbed up to the boy and led him down to safety. A coastguard helicopter also landed on the beach and gave medical assistance. More details to follow when statements are released from the emergency services.
