A Neyland man is set to appear at Swansea Crown Court next month charged with a series of allegations of sexual offences against minors.
Forty-six-year-old John Smith, of High Street, entered no pleas to the 17 charges brought against him when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Mr. Smith is accused of six charges of indecent assault, and four acts of gross indecency, between February, 1992 and August, 1993, on a boy under 14 years of age, and four charges of an assault on a girl under 13 years of age, between March and October, of 2005.
Mr. Smith also faces charges of making indecent photographs of children between August, 2010 and August 2014, possessing a prohibited image of a child between August, 2010 and October, 2011, and possessing extreme pornographic images of a person and animal between October, 2010 and October, 2011.
Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones told magistrates that the case was not suitable for summary trial.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case and sent the matter to Swansea Crown Court, where Mr. Smith, who was released on unconditional bail, will now appear on August 25.
