A man was arrested on Sunday at Tenby railway station on suspicion of meeting a girl under 16 years of age following grooming.

The group PH Balance which was set up to try and catch paedophiles throughout Wales, posted on their Facebook page that a team had been deployed to Tenby to ‘capture a creature’ who had been talking to a fourteen-year-old girl and had arranged to meet her at the resort at midday.

A?spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that officers arrested a man in Tenby, at 12.20 pm on Sunday, (July 22), on suspicion of meeting a girl under 16 years of age following grooming.

“He has since been released on bail, with conditions, while the police investigation continues,” added the police spokesperson.
