Tenby’s RNLI?crew were called into action on Thursday (September 16) evening after a report of paddleboarders in trouble off Castle Beach.

Inshore lifeboat the Georgina Taylor was requested to launch just after 7.30 pm, following a report to the Coastguard from a member of the public, stating that several people looked to be in difficulty on paddleboards off Castle Beach.

The volunteer crew were quickly on scene and spotted the two casualties struggling to make their way back to shore after losing one of their paddles.

Following a quick tow, they were safely ashore and the lifeboat was stood down to return to station.
