A Pembroke Dock woman has been fined in court after admitting a charge of cannabis possession.
Twenty-eight-year-old Kimberley Sly, of Hamilton Court, pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing 0.5 grams of herbal cannabis when she appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Sian Vaughan told the court that the drugs were recovered after police officers executed a search warrant at the defendant’s address. Miss Sly had previous matters on record of a similar nature magistrates heard.
Defence solicitor Mark Layton told the court that it was a small amount of cannabis with a street value of £5.
Magistrates fined the defendant £80 and ordered her to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge. A destruction order was also passed for the drugs.
