Tenby Coastguard Rescue team were tasked to deal with reports of a person in difficulty in the water at Manorbier on Thursday (August 20) evening.
The team were paged at 6.45 pm and on arrival at the scene, the casualty had been recovered from the water.
Coastguard officers provided a first aid check whilst waiting attendance from Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust paramedics.
Due to the risks associated with having ingested water, casualty was advised to seek further care at hospital.
