A Milford man who stole a jar of coffee has been charged in court.

Forty-two-year-old Ian Michael Power, of Larch Road, Mount Estate, admitted a charge of stealing coffee to the value of £7 belonging to The Food Warehouse at Havens Head, on November 18, when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Prosecutor Sian Vaughan told the court that Mr. Power had a history of theft on record.

Defence solicitor Mark Layton told magistrates that Mr. Power’s offending had ‘really slowed down’ in recent times.

Magistrates fined Mr. Power £80 for the offence and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85, a £30 victim surcharge, and £7 compensation to The Food Warehouse.
