Angle RNLI Lifeboat Station has received a donation of 5,000 litres of fuel from Pembroke Refinery.

Each year the refinery donates 20,000 litres of fuel to be split between Angle and Tenby Lifeboat stations, with the first 10,000 having been donated recently.

Since the delivery, Angle station has had 12 shouts ranging from people in the water, a person having a heart attack on an angling vessel, a search for a missing person and a medevac from a beam trawler which was 30 miles out to sea. The total fuel used in these missions is 5,100 litres - demonstrating the value of the donation to the charity.
