Tenby Tennis Club started the New Year by awarding its annual trophy for Club Player of the Year for 2018.

The trophy was kindly donated by Robert Mayhew in memory of his mother who worked at Greenhill School and was a great tennis fan.

Amongst the qualities required of the recipient were loyalty, commitment, enthusiasm, improvement and a team player.

With several candidates to choose from and after much discussion, the coaches decided to award the Tenby Tennis Club Player of the Year 2018 to Morgan Diment.

He has been a dedicated member of the club for many years and his improvement and development this year has been most impressive. Many congratulations Morgan.
