Starting in October, the seniors started their Winter League and Eclectic competitions. The Winter League consists of the best round of the month, whilst the eclectic is based on the first and third Thursdays of the month.

With the weather being kind during October and November, there were some good high scores, John Voysey was leading the way at the end of October with a best score of 39 points, followed by Dennis Holloway and Jack Zeraschi on 38.

John continued his good form into November, posting 38 points, but with Pat Casement posting 39 and Meurig Evans 37, his lead is only two points ahead of Pat.

The current situation is John Voysey 77 pts, Pat Casement 75, Meurig Evans 73 and Dennis Holloway 71.

So far, there has been no play in December, but with a run of dry weather there could be a change.

In the eclectic, John Voysey has a good lead in that competition, sitting on nett 58 at the moment - that was last year’s winning score. Second is Brinley Hughes on nett 62, with Gareth Roberts and Jack Zeraschi both on nett 64. However, with two-and-a-half months still to go, there could still be an upset from someone a little further back.
