The Seasiders’ Under 15s side faced a determined Clarbeston Road in the cup final held recently.

From the off Tenby looked sharp and William Malone witnessed his early attempt deflected, they continued to press and Charlie Gregory went on a great solo run and but shot over. Clarby are a tough and organised bunch to break down and Archie Smith took off down the left to provide the excellent Jack Jones who dragged his shot narrowly wide and soon after a lovely strike from Jack that smashed the crossbar.

The Seasiders were giving all they could, the defence was not getting much of a test but Ned Davies was one dealing with anything, Callum Karaka was pushing forward with some decent runs along with Iori Humpries.

The breakthrough soon came and it was a superb individual goal by will Malone to ensure that Tenby were one nil up on the break.

Second half was a different story and soon the boys went two up with that man Jack Jones getting in on the act.

Jack then turned provider for the rocked Dylan Morgan but his shot was saved.

The third saw roles reversed with Dylan turning up the pace and slotting a great ball for Jack to get his second.

Rhys Mansell in goal was having a fairly quiet match but had a decent evening when called upon. Will was having a busy time and causing trouble he turned a few Clarby defenders inside out to supply Dylan who smashed it past the keeper for number four.

Kurt Sarrionandia was among the rolling subs and showed some tricky feet.

The seasiders were pretty much home and dry and Archie was determined to bag one but his shot was saved parried however Will was there to slot home number five.

So another double, another fantastic season in which Tenby have won every single league and cup match.

They entered the under 16s Welsh Cup and reached the quarter final which they played a year up and faced Bryncoch from Swansea.

They played some great football here but the extra year probably made the difference and they lost 5-2.

The visiting coach praised Tenby and said that he expects them to win it next year.

High praise indeed. Dewi and Phil have done yet again another fantastic job working with a great bunch of talented players.

Will next year be the Holy Grail of the treble in their last season of junior football!

Thanks again to Gemma Jones for the excellent photos.

Under 8s

On Bank Holiday Monday Tenby Under 8s travelled to Kilgetty for their annual tournament.

The boys enjoyed an excellent morning of football, playing up a year against some tough U9 teams.

Tenby drew 0-0 with both Kilgetty and Milford, conceded one goal against Hakin Vikings, and took a 2-0 win over Narberth.

The boys then went into a play-off against another Hakin team losing 2-0. There was some great team work, and the boys proved how much they’ve improved over the last year.

Tenby U8s would like to say a big thank you to The Freemasons of Tenby (with Simon Toy pictured above right) for their kind and generous donation which will ensure the boys are kitted out for the ever changing weather.

Tenby team: Toby Hilling, Max Howells, Blake Ryder, Iori O’Rourke, Riley Lindsay, Jaden Graham, Oliver Ingham, Ollie Toy, Kyan Smith, George Hughes, Carwyn Williams and Travis Davies.
