Tenby AFC Under 8s started the game well against their toughest opposition yet, the Pennar Whites, and went 1-0 up, with some good play by Ollie and Max.

Tenby held their defence well but unfortunately Pennar managed to score through a tight gap, to leave the final score 1-1.

Tenby Dragons Under 10s

Last Saturday Tenby Dragons Under 10s hosted Neyland.

The Seasiders started much the brighter, as they had the extra man in the middle which helped make sure that Bailey and Evan always got to the second balls first. Good width was provided by Sam and Eli for Tenby, with Ethan and George creating great movement up front.

Tenby broke the back of the net first with ‘birthday boy’ George getting a goal on his big day. Eli was holding his shape very well on the right channel for the home side, with an opportunity for a run and shot arising, and Eli took his chance with ultimate precision to put the home side two up.

Tenby are very lucky to have some very good defenders and a quality keeper. Thomas, Tyler (Louis who wasn’t playing) and Jesse have the upmost respect and confidence from their coaches, and they as a collective are the foundation which allows their teammates to play.

Neyland got back into the game, with Ioan pulling a well taken goal back, and after the interval scored another to make it 2-2.

Tenby went ahead again after half time, with George getting his second, and the final score was 3-2 to Tenby.

In terms of man of the match, the award went to Eli.
