The unbeaten U13s travelled to play against Prendergast Villa this Saturday.

With these two teams always having a close battle, the boys knew it was likely to be the toughest game of the season so far. Both teams started well with each trying to assert early pressure.

The early few minutes saw end to end play but the Tenby defence remained solid and it was Morgan who was able to take his chance and score the first goal. This score remained the same until half time.

The second half saw Prendergast miss a penalty and for Tenby to be awarded one too, where Iori made the score 2-0.

As the game came to a close a last minute goal from Prendergast left the final score 2-1. A tough game for the boys but a great result.

Tenby team: Jack, Will, Toby, Taine, Max, Dylan, Iori, TJ, George, Jack, Morgan Kyle and Leon.

Tenby Under 15s

The seasiders faced newly formed Pennar Robins at the Clicketts and from the start the homesters looked the strongest some early runs were being made and yet again the busy Will Malone was making a nuisance of himself and indeed it wasn’t long before he got his reward with a lovely finish.

The visitors to their credit kept pushing for the equaliser and this was being taken care of by the defence and it was one of the lads Iori Humphries (pictured) who was next up on the score sheet for goal number two and a busy spell he was having in the first half because he went on to bag another two lovely individual finishes for a lovely hat trick. So four was the difference on the half time whistle.

Second half was what can only be described as a bit of a goal fest and the first one was from the rocket Dylan Morgan soon followed by a decent finish by the excellent Jack Jones and they just kept coming. Take em on Archie Smith soon got his first of the match and duly followed soon after for number two for his brace. Still they were coming and this team they can and will come from anyone such is the quality.

Charlie Gregory used his fine feet to work through the defence and slot his contribution for the day.

As previously stated such is the quality of this squad anyone has it in them but yet again Jack Jones showed a touch of brilliance with an audacious lob over the keeper for number ten.

So things were pretty busy on the Clicketts pitch as was throughout the whole match but the last action produced the last night goal of the game and it was to be a brace also for the speedy Dylan Morgan for an emphatic 11-0 win.

So far this season these very talented young men have a 100 per cent win record and really do play as unit.

The Top Joe’s award for man of the match was Iori Humpries and well deserved. This weekend they face Fishguard at the Clicketts.
