Under 10s
Tenby were very dominant from the start and an early goal soon came.
The Hundleton keeper made some excellent saves, but Tenby kept plugging away and at quarter time were leading by five.
The second quarter saw Tenby unable to find the back of the net so easily, with many shots just off target, but they kept Hundleton mostly in their own half and Jack was able to get two in quick succession.
The third quarter saw Tenby produce some accurate passing between players, with some lovely football played.
The game was played in great spirit throughout, well done boys.

Haverfordwest Cricket Club U14s 0 Tenby U14s 2
Tenby Under 14s, sponsored by Oakwood and United Aerospace, of Pembroke Dock, played their 14th game of the season with a tricky visit to Haverfordwest Cricket Club. The Cricketers convincingly beat the Seasiders earlier in the year and this return match was a must-win for Tenby in order to retain the title.
Playing down the slight slope, the visitors stated their intent from the start, but found it hard to break down a resilient home defence. Carl Thomas, Jamie Bartlett and Jacob Hipkiss all went close and it wasn’t until the 25th that the deadlock was broken. A great run and cross by Thomas found Bartlett who hit the ball under the home ’keeper and into the goal.
Would this slender lead be enough, was the question on the visiting supporters’ lips. Tenby, now playing up the slope, took the game to the cricket club and Darren Gibson hit the crossbar with a powerful shot. The home side relied on the long ball over the top, which the Tenby defence dealt with comfortably, especially Kieran Allen, who produced an outstanding performance.
With five minutes left on the clock, Tom Wright picked up the ball five metres outside the Cricketers’ box and hit a shot which flew into the roof of the net. The last action of the game was a shot by the home striker which Tenby ’keeper, Dylan Noot, just managed to push on to his crossbar.
Tenby ‘man of the match’ was Kieran Allen.

Pennar Robins U14s 1
Tenby Under 14s, sponsored by Oakwood and United Aerospace, of Pembroke Dock, saw their nine-game winning streak cpme to an abrupt end at the hands of a battling Pennar Robins.
The match overall wasn’t spectacular and was mainly played in the centre of the park, with both teams unable to carve out any clear chances. In fact, neither goalkeeper had a save to make in the entire 70 minutes.
Carl Thomas always posed a threat and flashed a couple of shots across the Robins goal, while at the other end, Dylan Noot only had a few long range efforts, which he easily dealt with.
All-square at the interval and a draw looking on the cards as the match entered the last 10 minutes. Pennar hit a long ball behind the home defence and Sonny Price reacted quickest and lofted it towards the Tenby goal. The ball just evaded the outstretched hands of Noot and the underside of the crossbar.
A frantic end to the game saw Tenby surge forward in search of an equaliser, but the Robins’ defence held strong and they recorded their first win over Tenby.
Tenby’s ‘men of the match’ was Kieran Allen and Darren Gibson.
Tomorrow (Saturday), the Seasiders Under 14s are home to Clarbeston Road.
Support is always appreciated.
