The Pembrokeshire Women’s and Girls League end of season cup day was held in Camrose last Sunday.

Ffion Morgan, Wales Women’s team player and West Wales Ambassador was in attendance to award each team member a medal and trophies.

St Florence’s Under 10 girls played four games in total. After losing their first game against Johnston the girls improved with every game.

They drew their next two games against Neyland and Camrose before winning a great game against Narberth 5 - 2.

During the day Mia scored two goals and Esmee three.

The team were given their medals at the end of their games by Welsh international Ffion Morgan.

The under 12s played three games in their group and we’re unlucky not to go into the semi final matches on goals scored after finishing on the same points as Johnston who went through.

During the day the Under 12s team were awarded the trophy for League winners, following a truly fantastic season where they only lost one game out of 14.

All involved are so proud of the girls and grateful to Ryan and Anne-Marie who give their time each week.

The Under 14s played four group games in their competition winning twice, drawing once and losing once.

Charlotte and Alex scored a goal each in the group games and Mabli scored five, some of which were outstanding individual goals.

They played Johnston in the semi final and it was a very close game between two very good footballing teams, but it was Mabli again that came up with the very important goal to send St Florence into the finalagainst Ffostrasol who had won the league.

The girls came back from being a goal down to equalise through another goal by Mabli, but were unlucky when Ffostrasol scored the winner in the last minute to win the cup.

All the girls can be proud of their performances as they had played some brilliant football.
