Kilgetty lost 4-2 at Cwm Wanderers after extra-time, while Narberth slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Seaside.
A defeat by the same margin for Pennar Robins, too, in their away game at Pwll Athletic.
Iwan Izzard proved he is more than just a dab hand at playing cricket by scoring a fine goal for Carew in their home clash against Cwmfelin Press. His opener helped the Rooks secure a passage through to the next round with a 4-3 win over the visitors. Sean Whitfield also got in on the act thanks to a penalty, with Morgan Scourfield and Jordan Richards nabbing the others.
Lamphey’s league form has been good this year, but they crashed out of the cup following a 3-1 loss at home to Morriston Olympic. Billy Davies slotted one home for the Stags, but the visitors were far too strong on the day.
In league action, Tenby were in imperious form away at Johnston as they hammered the Tigers 6-0. Sam Christopher led the way with a hat-trick, while Darryl Mansbridge struck twice and Luke James Raymond the other.
Meanwhile at Milford United, a Martin Carroll goal wasn’t enough to prevent Monkton Swifts from going down to a 2-1 defeat at Marble Hall.
In division two, St. Clears went down to their seventh defeat of the season after losing 4-1 at home against Prendergast Villa, while there was disappointment for Lawrenny after their 4-2 loss at home against Hakin United seconds. Owen James grabbed both goals for the hosts.
Hundleton were involved in a real humdinger at Letterston, with the visitors coming out on top 5-4. Aaron Goldsmith stole the show with a brace of goals, with the other three coming from Jake Griffiths, Dylan Davies and Rhodri Davies.
A fine all-round day for Saundersfoot Sports, too, in their home game against Merlins Bridge seconds, with the Seasiders winning 5-1. Jack Franklyn ruled the roost after finishing with three to his name, while the others came from Richard Cope and Geoff Marsh.
In division three, Manorbier United and Carew seconds put on a show for the neutral, with the game finishing 3-2 to the Rooks. Charlie Patching and Jake Webster both scored for the home team, while the evergreen Paul Bullock struck once for Carew, followed by Jonathon Harris and an own goal for good measure.
Pennar Robins’ seconds went down to a loss at home to Broad Haven, the visitors winning 5-2. Pennar’s goals came from Marco Valenine and Lee Duigan, while there was disappointment of a different kind for Pendine when their scheduled home clash against Johnston seconds was postponed after the Tigers failed to raise a side.
St. Clears’ seconds lost 2-0 at Pennar Robins’ seconds after a brace of goals from Jamie Groves, while three goals from Luke Wickland, two from Connor Willis and another from Gavin Fisher allowed Angle seconds to romp to a 6-0 win over their counterparts from Neyland.
Phil Evans was on target twice for St. Florence in their 4-3 win at Fishguard Sports’ seconds. Colin Batley struck another, as did James Whitehouse.
Meanwhile, at Pembroke Boro, the home team just about won in one of the weekend’s most unusual games. The score finished 8-7 in the Boro’s favour in a match which it’s fair to say wasn’t a showcase for top notch defending! Phil John finished with four to his name, while Jake Campbell hit three and Luke the other in a scintillating game at London Road.

In the first round of the fifth division cup, Kilgetty seconds eased into round two following a comprehensive win over Milford Athletic seconds. The Kingsmoor outfit won 7-1 after a hat-trick by Jack Waters, a brace from Josh Lewis and a goal each from Billy Lawrence and Andrew Evans.
Hundleton seconds came out on top in their clash at home against Carew thirds. Hundleton won 4-2 thanks to goals from Adam Bowen, Billy Absalom and two from Jack Blunsden. For Carew the goals came from Flaherty and Haggar.
Away from the cup and back to division five, Pembroke Boro seconds went down 5-0 at Broad Haven reserves, while Monkton Swifts seconds eased to a 12-0 win over Lawrenny seconds as Liam Butland finished with six to his name, while the others came from Corey Mair, Kevin Kilby, Joey Williamson, two from Wayne Boswell and the last one by Luke Hendry.
