Narberth are through to the third round of the senior cup after withstanding a comeback by Neyland.

The Bluebirds stormed into a 3-0 lead as Dylan Davies, Tony Evans and Dylan Blain all scored, but Neyland responded through goals by Scott Jones and Wayne Parry.

The game was a repeat of last season’s semi-final with Narberth getting revenge for that clash which the Nomads won.

In Division One league action, it was a day to forget for St. Clears as they were trounced 4-0 at in-form Johnston.

Angle were beaten too as they succumbed to high-flying West Dragons. The hosts lost 4-1 and conceded two own goals in the process. They managed to score one legitimate goal of their own with Lee Duigan doing the honours.

Lowly Carew suffered at home losing 8-0 to Merlins Bridge, while Pennar Robins also lost after going down by the odd goal in five against Milford United.

The Robins lost 3-2 with Patrick McDonagh and Dai Patterson both giving the hosts hope.

The match of the day was at The Clicketts as Tenby entertained Goodwick United with the visitors claiming the points following a 3-1 win.

Jordan Richards scored the home team’s only goal as the away team proved too powerful on the day.

Monkton Swifts claimed one of their better results of the season after winning 4-2 at Fishguard Sports.

Dean Scourfield scored twice for the visitors, while Mike Canton and Matthew Davies also found the back of the net in their fifth win of the season.

Lamphey may have slipped to second in Division Two by virtue of playing fewer games than leaders Clarbeston Road yet they can still lay claim to being the best side in the division after securing a 7-3 win at home over Solva.

Billy Davies and Sam Southcott both finished with two goals in the Royal George sponsored clash, while Adam John, Alex Lewis and Danno Kitts also slotted home to score.

Saundersfoot Sports suffered at home however as the leaders beat them 6-3.

After securing one of their biggest wins in years last weekend, Kilgetty would have had high hopes of making it into the second round of the Division Three Cup, but they came across a determined Cosheston Cougars side that won the game 4-2.

Jack Walters and Jack Bevan both scored for the visitors, but four goals by Luke Hendry won the game for the hosts.

Tom Scourfield scored for Carew Seconds at Camrose, but his goal couldn’t prevent them from going down 2-1 against the home team, while Saundersfoot Sports’ seconds lost 3-0 at Hakin United seconds.

At Manorbier, the home team prevailed 4-3 against Hubberston as two goals by Graham Patchell and one each by Gavin Evans and Jake Webster saw them home and through to the next round.

Narberth Thirds were held to a draw in Division Four after the game at Letterston Seconds finished 2-2.

Rich Williams and Dean Wright scored for the Bluebirds, while at Pennar Robins’ Thirds, Pendine eased to a 5-1 win thanks to a Robbie Waters hat-trick and one apiece by Kieran Lewis and Nathan Davies.

St. Clears’ Seconds went down to a 5-1 defeat at home to Fishguard Sports’ Seconds, with Steff Morgan scoring their only goal.

Carew Thirds lost 7-0 at home to Prendergast Villa seconds, while Pembroke Boro went down 6-1 at home to Llangwm despite Phil John’s goal.

It was a good day for St. Florence as they eased to a 4-1 win at home over Milford Athletic, with Mark Reed, Owen Bateman and Colin Batley all finding the back of the net, while three goals by Gavin Wickland and one each by Luke Wickland and Stuart Ferrier saw Angle Seconds win 5-1 at their counterparts from St. Ishmaels.

Kilgetty Seconds were tied 2-2 at home to Cosheston Cougars’ Seconds with Josh Lewis and Richie Gwyther scoring their goals and James Wallace scoring both for the Cougars, while Pendine Seconds lost 7-2 at home to Pembroke Boro reserves.

Ab Hockin and Rhodri Davies both scored twice in Hundleton Seconds’ 8-2 win over Camrose Seconds, with the other goals coming from Dan Lynch, Mark Jones, Andre Hay and Jack Blunsden in the Highgate Inn sponsored game.

Tenby Seconds won 4-2 at Milford United Thirds, while two goals by Jamie Preece and one each by Dan Nolan and Liam Finnegan were enough for Monkton Swifts’ Seconds to beat Lawrenny Seconds 4-2.

Meanwhile, Lamphey Seconds lost 4-0 at West Dragons Reserves.
