Due to the extreme weather conditions last weekend, the Pembrokeshire Football League took the unprecedented decision on Friday to postpone all mini, junior and senior fixtures scheduled for the following day.

“Obviously the safety of all involved with Pembrokeshire football was paramount and with the forecast predicting low temperatures and snow possibly continuing, we tought it would be inevitable that all games would be postponed,” said a spokesman.

“We made an early decision as  with the roads in Pembrokeshire being treacherous it was unfair to make people travel in such conditions.

“Hopefully we can get back to normality this weekend, with all senior games from March 3 now being scheduled for Saturday.
