Monkton took another step towards claiming the division one title after they secured their 14th win of the season on Saturday.
The Swifts’ fine form continued with a resounding win over Milford United at home, their 5-0 win propelling them to the top of the table one point above Goodwick with both games having played 16 games.
Daniel Scourfield got the ball rolling before Chris Richards and Dylan Davies got in on the act.
A win too for Carew who sit third in the league. They secured a 2-0 win over Pennar Robins with Scott Ferney grabbing a brace.
It was an unhappy day for Saundersfoot who struggled up in Goodwick losing 11-1, their only bright spot coming when Nick Cope grabbed a consolation.
At Narberth, the hosts entertained Merlins Bridge and gave the Wizards a tough game , only going down 3-2 against one of the division’s top sides.
Jordan Williams and Dafydd Wright were the men to score for the Bluebirds.
In division two, Lawrenny and Hundleton played out a 3-3 draw while the game between Merlins Bridge seconds and Kilgetty was postponed.
Aidy Jones and Callum O’Connell were on fire for Narberth seconds in their away clash at Fishguard Sports’ seconds scoring all three of the Bluebirds’ goals.
His efforts were ultimately in vain however after they went down 5-3.
Defeat for St Clears’ seconds too, losing 5-0 at Milford Athletic.
Up the road at Marble Hall it was a better day all round for Carew seconds after they hammered the hosts’ second string 7-2.
Adam Muskett scored three, with the others come from Haydn Shapcott, Carl Thomas and Sam Harts.
A draw for Pembroke Boro in their clash at Clarbeston Road seconds, Phil John and Mark Evans ensuring the game finished 2-2, while Monkton seconds beat Solva stiffs 7-0 and Pennar seconds beat St Florence by the same margin.
The game between Pendine and Goodwick United was postponed.
More postponements in division four too with HUndleton seconds v Cosheston falling foul alongside Kilgetty seconds hosting Pembroke Boro seconds.
Neyland seconds beat Pennar thirds 1-0 while in division five semi final, Tenby fell foul of penalties losing out on a final place to Newport Tigers who edged through 4-3 on penalties.
In the league, Josh Lewis scored for Carew thirds and Rees Jenkins for Lawrenny seconds in their 1-1 draw.
