The evening began with the presentation of the new Anniversary Cup, which was brilliantly won by The Saints - a team comprising mostly players from St. Clears RFC. This was followed by the Player of the Tournament Award, which went to Mark Davies, of Santi’s Little Helpers.
The league trophy was then handed to the boys from Lads On Toure, who were deservedly crowned champions earlier in the season. Rory Spiers took the Man of the Match Award for his contributions to ensure Lads On Toure stayed on top of the league.
The final award of the night went to Jamie Tilley, of Ale Beef Hooked, for the Goal of the Season.
The presentation celebrates its third successive season and over a year of running. Organiser Joshua Layzell wanted to thank all the players in the community of Narberth for supporting the league and making it such a competitive and enjoyable tournament.
“When it began I was unsure of what the response would be, but since being founded in March 2017, 12 different teams and over 100 players have taken part from all corners of the local area from Tenby to Crymych - long may it continue.”
