Sunday saw Welsh Cup action at Kilgetty as the Kingsmoor outfit took on Whitland in the second round of the South Wales Group.

Batting first, Whitland posted a healthy a total of 199 all out off their allotted 40 overs, with Jack Bowen star of the show as he top scored with 65.

Replying, Kilgetty started well enough, reaching 85 for 2, but then the rot set in and they slumped to 141 all out and a 58-run defeat.

Kurtis Marsh top scored for them with useful 45, but Iestyn Scourfield did most of the damage for the vistors as he returned excellent figures of 4 for 18.
