For the first time, players from all age groups attended the Saundersfoot Cricket Club presentation evening held at the Saundersfoot Sports and Social Club on Friday.

What had been intended as a fun evening and barbeque on the field was moved inside due to the horrendous rain storm.

The older players enjoyed some liquid refreshment, while the youngsters played pool to their hearts content. Justin Richards still managed to provide a magnificent barbeque under the porch of the club and all were well fed with burgers and hot dogs.

There were shields awarded to all the young players and special awards for the Most Improved Players and Player of the Year in each category.

The main award of the evening, 1st Team Player of the Year, was presented to Tom Mansbridge for his superb batting and bowling performances throughout the season.

The club would like to thank Dickie Parcell who presented all the trophies and the Sports and Social Club for use of the facilities.
