Lamphey Cricket Club’s James W Skeels, is playing a huge cup final at the WACA in Perth tomorrow.

Born and bred in Lamphey, James has been living near Perth for the past couple of years, playing for Halls Head Cricket Club and was selected to represent Peel A Grade Association at WA Country Week, a week long tournament.

Peel have reached the final which is being played tomorrow vs Bunbury and Districts.

This is a huge achievement and brilliant opportunity to play at one of the top test cricket venues in the world.

For those that don’t know, the WACA (Western Australian Cricket Association) is one of the top professional cricket grounds in Australia and the world, which has played host to numerous Ashes tests, with the very best Australian and English cricketers of all time having played there.

Everyone at the Club wishes James (pictured here in his Peel Association kit) all the best for tomorrow’s game.
