This coastal hotel is more than a hundred years old and has “outstanding” views across the Irish Sea.
The Imperial Hotel, in Tenby, was originally a terrace of homes known as Belmont Houses, which were built in the 1830s.
The houses were renovated by Maples of London in 1905, with a smoking room in the style of Henri II of France being added in 1907, and a clifftop lounge being added in 1923.

The hotel sits on South Beach, and is a detached four storey building containing 45 en-suite guest bedrooms and four staff rooms.
Public areas of the hotel include the main function room, which can serve 130 and has panoramic sea views, a guest lounge and terrace bar that can accommodate 70 and has access to a sea-facing outdoor terrace.

There is also a commercial kitchen, public and staff WCs, a staff office and a reception area.
Outdoors, there is one long terrace, and a smaller terrace that is no longer in use, as well as a small car park.
The property is being sold by estate agent Christie & Co for a price of £2,500,000.

The agent commented: “A rare and exciting opportunity to purchase a significant freehold hotel in an idyllic sea front location in the bustling Sea Front resort of Tenby, offering outstanding views across South Beach and The Irish Sea.
“There is a fantastic opportunity to develop a thriving bar and restaurant as well as build on the events and wedding business, making the most of the wonderful outdoor spaces and far reaching views.”
