The Little and Large Lite Bites Cafe ‘Yarn Bombing’ team have been very busy again over the last couple of months.
The Poppy display currently on view at the Cafe in Saundersfoot to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of WWI, has been created from crocheted and knitted Poppies made by the Team, who meet up every Thursday morning at 10 am in the Cafe:
Alongside the Poppies are many ‘Pebble Poppies’, all beautifully hand painted by some of the Yarn Bombing team plus several members of the Saundersfoot Strollers and their families.
Anyone wishing to make a donation to the British Legion Poppy Appeal as a result of the display are very welcome to, by handing in a donation to a member of the Cafe staff.
The Yarn Bombing team would like to thank Debbie Ludlow and the staff of the Cafe for putting up with them every week throughout the year, and for providing the facility to show off their display.
Also, anyone that may have any redundant wool in good condition that they would like to donate for future projects, they may leave it at the Cafe, and the team would be most grateful.
